Comfortable lobby with scenic views.
The bathroom was cramped, and the hot water was inconsistent. There were also issues with noise from other guests as the walls were thin, which affected my comfort significantly. To top it off, parking was a hassle, as public spaces nearby filled up quickly and required additional costs.

Well, no parking lot.

Incredibly beautiful hotel in a magnificent position central to all the shop. A nice size room with comfortable beds, a new carpet and a carpet. Particularly good private bathroom. Location so close to shops, restaurants and street parking, and Market Street...

The room in front of the mirror. Wi-Fi, coffee, and a TV were a very nice touch. Some of the staff members were excellent friendly and very amiable. The hotel was in a central location within walking distance of the city center.
My first room was quite basic.

Clifden vibes 🌊
Mari was such a lekker host, super cute, and the brekkie spread was on point! The location is ace for popping out to the pubs nearby.
Parking can be a bit of a schlep if the town's busy.

fantastic place for city strolls and exploring nearby landmarks
my stay here was amazing, as I enjoyed the warm hospitality of the hosts while being just a few steps away from several charming pubs and scenic walking areas like Clifden Sea Sports Centre which is only 100 meters away, making it easy to wander around town during my three nights in a double room in 2023-07-15.

The Old Exchange had a charming atmosphere that I enjoyed. The sitting room was cute, with a lovely view, made it perfect. Breakfast options, especially the vegan treats, were pleasing and offered a good range. The host, Mari, was genuinely nice. The room could definitely benefit from more decorations to create a cozier vibe. It felt a bit bare compared to the inviting shared spaces. Another minor downside was the street noise on a busy Saturday. It occasionally disrupted the peace I was hoping for. This place has great potential with its hospitality and comfortable areas, but a few enhancements could elevate the experience further.
